CELTIC, Middle Danube. Uncertain tribe. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 1.64 g, 2 h), 'Kapostal' type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right; before, two semicircles. Rev. Celticized horseman to left, wearing crested helmet; to left and right, torcs. Dembski -. Lanz 821. OTA 503/1. A lovely and well centered piece. Stress marks on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
